I was brought into this project after it had been gutted. There were some challenges with ceiling height due to soffits needed for old ventilation, a fireplace that needed a facelift (interior, exterior and functionality), a need for bookcases that reflected their transitional style, a new lighting plan, floor rehab keeping existing oak floors with a plan to transition the entry that had tile… into the oak in the living, dining and family rooms. Those were the essentials that needed to be addressed.
